ICE’s Annual Meeting is a consolidation of its Legislative Conference, Collective Bargaining Conference and Awards Program into one meeting that allows ICE members to get the best bang for their conference buck and focus on the issues most important to union masonry contractors.

Join us Wed. & Thurs. October 3-4, 2018 at the Marriott Wardman Park in the Woodley Park neighborhood of Washington, DC, just steps from the Smithsonian National Zoo. We will continue to build upon the important, innovative and engaging conversations we have had at past meetings and our tradition of an always fun first-night social outing.
The Eugene George Awards will also be our biggest celebration to date.
The meeting will culminate with a visit to the BAC/IMI John J. Flynn National Training Center for a tour, the finals of the BAC/IMI National Apprentice Contest Terrazzo Division and a chance to see IMI's new M.U.L.E. robot first hand on Friday, October 5.
ICE and IMI will also arrange for transportation for any attendees who would like to stay and attend Saturday's Brick, Stone, Tile, Marble, Plaster, Cement and PCC National Apprentice Contest Finals.
Quotes from past attendees:
The most content rich event I could possibly attend. Each year the programming turns out to be some of the most essential information I need to understand the current issues for an IUBAC signatory contractor. Anyone who is involved with health and benefit packages, pension funds, or the collective bargaining process should consider this conference a must go to event for the success of their companies.
- John Trendell, Trendell Consulting and Tile Contractors Association of America (TCAA) President
"Knowledgeable speakers that did more than inspire. You could tell that they truly care about how contractors must succeed in today’s ever changing environment."
"Not only was the conference probably the best I have ever attended, the expertise of the attendees was tremendous."
The idea to bring BAC Executives to a private company to help motivate and train our guys in the BAC Code of Conduct came right from a table discussion between [BAC Regional Director] Ed Navarro and myself at the October ICE Collective Bargaining Conference. Ed and [BAC Executive VP] Carlos Aquin participated at our meeting and gave an enthusiastic message to members who are working in a tough, non-union market. It was great."
- Anthony M. Marra, Executive Vice President, The Stebbins Engineering and Manufacturing Company
