ICE has worked with the BAC and contractor members on state and federal legislative matters concerning masonry contractor licensing and bidding processes, safety and health issues and efforts to protect the work of ICE contractors and BAC members from threats both within the U.S. and abroad. ICE has a growing political action effort and focus, including the establishment of the ICE Political Action Committee appointed from the ranks of ICE Affiliates. The Political Action Committee will encourage, stimulate and provide the opportunity for ICE Affiliates to take a more active role in political and government activities that effect the unionized masonry industry. The committee will:
ICE is also a member of the Campaign for Quality Construction, an alliance of six premier specialty construction contractors' associations. |
